Casual Connection Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Use are between Casual connection (“We”, “us”) and “you” the user of this Service and you agree to be bound by them. To use this service, you must respect and meet the criteria of our service as stated below.

1. Accepting our Terms of Use
In order to create an account on our platform and use our service, you agree that you are 18 years and over and are bound by all our Terms of Use, you have read, and accept our cookie policy, Privacy Policy and agree and accept to abide by any amendments to the guidelines and Terms of Use that we may update from time to time during your continued use of our service. You must not register to use the service if you do not agree to any of our Terms of Use. If you proceed to register, this will be taken as explicit agreement to all the Terms of Use of this Service, and you will therefore be bound by them.

2. Eligibility declarations to use this service.
i. You agree that you are 18 years or older and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with Casual Connection.
ii. You agree that you will pay for the service with your own card or have permission if paying with someone else’s card.
iii. You agree that you are not registering for this service for the purpose of soliciting funds or personal information from other users.
iv. You have never been convicted of terrorism, sex offences, fraud, domestic violence, hate crime or any form of harassment. You must not register if any of the above applies to you.
v. You agree that you meet the conditions for registration, and you will follow these Terms of Use.
vi. You agree that you will not supply misleading information in your profile.
vii. You agree that the only purpose for registering on this platform is for casual relationships with other users and nothing else.

3. Registration and use of service
I) You need to register for an account in order to use our service. Registration and creation of an account for this service is generally free and limited to one account for each member. Browsing and communicating with other users will be at a small monthly fee. You have the option to update your account anytime if the information you provided at registration changes. You must familiarise yourself with our Terms of Use before registering to use this service.

ii) You agree that the responsibility of maintaining confidentiality and security details of your account and any activity that will occur within your account is entirely your responsibility. We do not share your information with any other website and if this is to happen in future, you will be informed and directed to the updated Terms of Use where you will be required to consent by accepting the updated Terms of Use. If you suspect unauthorised or unrecognised access to your account, report immediately to your bank first and then our customer support using the contact link on the Home Page on our website for further investigation. We explicitly do not accept liability for any losses or damages that you may incur due to unauthorised or unrecognised access to your account.

iii) You agree that you will not respond to any requests for information which redirect you to an external website. Any requests for further information during or after you have completed your registration will be within your official account and MUST be completed within your official account. We will not redirect you to another website to complete any request. End immediately, any requests that redirect you to an external website and report the incidence immediately to customer service for further investigation. We do not accept liability for any information you supply to external platforms.

4. Services
We aim to provide a service that is consistent and reliable for our customers and as a result we will be required to carry out service security appraisals, upgrades and troubleshooting. This may require the suspension of the service hence making it unavailable to you for brief periods of time. Any planned maintenance will be communicated to the users. We are not liable for any losses that you may incur as a result of the disruption caused due to routine maintenance of the service.

Our service is exclusively provided online, via desktop and mobile devices and it is your responsibility to ensure that your device has the right hardware and connection to the internet for this service to operate properly. We are not liable for any losses if you are unable to connect to the service due to poor internet connectivity or hardware which is incompatible with our software.

In order to keep you up to date with important information about this service and your account, we will send you notifications within your account and or by email. You have the option to select your preferred method and type of notification within your account. You are required to always maintain up to date contacts with us. You agree that we will not be held liable for any loss or damages that you may incur as a result of not receiving notifications from us due to inaccurate profile contacts.

5. Procedure and conditions for purchases
Payment for access to services on our platform will be made in the form of a monthly payment which you can keep making each month for as long as you want access to our paid service (your account will not be suspended for taking a break from paying. You just won’t have access to paid services), or you can set a direct debit by selecting your preferred option by following instructions when prompted within your account.

We will always aim to provide a service that is affordable but due to various reasons that are beyond our control, we may require to change our prices for our service in future. We will endeavour to notify our Users about price changes in advance before implementing any changes.

You agree to notify us in writing if you have been billed wrongly via the customer support (contacts link) found on the homepage within 30 days after the billing error for further investigation. We are not liable for any losses or damages that the user may incur as a result of not reporting the error within the time stated within this agreement.

6. Third-party content
We offer this service for entertainment only and you agree that we are not liable for any other content of whatever nature that may be redirected to our service from Third Party websites at any one time. Content of any nature that is redirected to our platform is not within our control, it is the responsibility of the third party website and supplier of that content and we explicitly do not accept liability for any losses or damage that you may incur due to access of the content from any Third-party website. You are recommended to refer to their Terms and conditions.

Third parties may redirect content to our platform from time to time for a fee or free. The respective third party will still be liable for the content they redirect to this platform.

7. Termination of subscription and closure of account and profile
i) Membership of this service is free, and a monthly fee is charged for access to more services. You can terminate your subscription at any time at no cost and the termination will be effective immediately. We do not make refunds for unutilised fees and therefore you are encouraged to use the service until the term of your current subscription expires. You will still have access to our free services, and you can re-activate your subscription if you decide that you want to access the paid service. All you need to do is log in and follow the instructions to re-activate your payment option by following the payment option on the menu in your account. It is your responsibility to cancel any Direct Debits that you have set up for this service, please inform your bank and or any relevant App (i.e., Apple pay or Google Pay) which you have used to pay for this service to terminate the agreement as soon as possible. A notification will be emailed to you to confirm cancellation of subscription.

ii) Legally, you can cancel any purchases within 14 days of purchasing the service. You must note that logging in your account and using the service at any time within the 14 qualifying days after your purchase is accepting Terms of Use of your account and will be charged. You agree to forfeit your fee, if you have accessed and enjoyed our services within the 14 days cooling off period. If you wish to cancel at any time within the 14 days, you must inform us in writing and you do not have to give us any reason. A refund will be arranged by Casual Connection within fourteen (14) working days after receipt of your notification for cancelation of the purchase. This refund can only be processed using the same payment method you used to purchase the service to avoid any fraudulent activity on your account.

iii) You can terminate your membership at any time at no additional cost by following instructions on the menu in your account and the termination will be effective immediately. We do not make refunds for fees that have not been utilised and therefore you are encouraged to use the service until the term of your fee expires. You will have no access to your account when the termination process is complete. You can however register again to use our service at any time if you wish by visiting our website and following the instructions on our home page. If the termination is by Us due to misuse of our Terms of Use of the Service and breach of contract, you agree that you will forfeit the fee for the remainder of the term. Your account will be closed, and you will no longer have access to the account or any other services. A notification will be emailed to you to confirm Termination and closure of your account.

8. Intellectual property
You agree that you will not copy, download, reproduce, change, disseminate, replicate information, images, texts or any other activity that infringes our copyright in any form from this website including other users’ information other than for personal or private use only. You MUST NOT use any information from this website for commercial purposes. Any action contrary to our Terms of Use will result in legal prosecution.

You consent that we have your permission to reproduce or share the content that you post to our platform as we may find suit with other Users for your benefit whilst using this service within the law. This may either be for non-commercial or commercial purposes. If you believe that your intellectual copyrights have been infringed, visit our contact page to inform us in writing. We will investigate the matter accordingly as soon as reasonably possible when we receive a written notification.

i) As much as we take every effort to check and delete fake or false profiles, it is not possible to guarantee the accuracy or inaccuracy of the information provided by every member or profile. We do not comprehensively verify or moderate profiles when registering and We do not have the ability to verify or monitor these accounts regularly. Sometimes Users may provide unreliable and unlawful information. Members agree that they will evaluate the information on these profiles and especially when interacting on the internet with strangers for their safety. Be wary if you are forced to give personal information to strangers however insignificant. We expressly do not accept liability for any events that happen between users of this service whether during online or as a result of meeting in person on this website.

ii) This service is for people genuinely looking for casual entertainment/relationships with like minded Users. You must not impersonate any other person, use the service for financial gains, advertise or sell products or services, send junk emails to other user, upload or publish or use defamatory information or content that violates the rights of others e.g. (racist, unlawful content, sexist or religious slander etc), create false profiles or harass or use offensive language during your interaction with other users on this platform under any circumstance. You must stop contacting other users when they ask you to stop contact. You must not ask other members for their personal or contact information. Your account may be terminated without further notice if you are found in breach of Terms of Use. You must not share your financial information or help with other Users as We do not accept liability for any losses that you may incur in the process.

iii) You agree that you will not post or upload any content that is perceived to be abusive, copyright material i.e., Images, text, logos etc, or engage in prohibited activities, on this website. You agree to indemnify us of all legal proceedings and costs that may be brought against us if you are found in breach.

iv) We strongly do not accept third party or fake profiles on this platform and in order to protect our valued Users from fraudulent activities that may occur, our system will automatically block all external platforms, fake profiles, website addresses, links and phone numbers. You agree that you will not click on any links that may appear on your account while you use this platform. Our contacts are provided at the bottom of the Home Page, and we will not send you links to contact us.

v) We provide this service with the aim of connecting like minded Users. However, we cannot guarantee that everyone will find a date and or connect with other Users for one reason or another. We do not accept any liability for inability to connect with other Users on this website.

vi) Members agree that the use of this service is at their own risk. You must exercise reasonable caution while viewing and interacting with content uploaded by other users who are unknown to you. Members must accept that any member’s profile or communication may not be genuine and likely to give you false, illegal or misleading information etc., that may be for the other User’s personal gain. Members have the option to block profiles that they are not comfortable interacting with or profiles that they find inappropriate. vii) You agree that your account is for your individual use only and the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You agree that you will not share your account or any security information (e.g., password etc) about your account with others and that you will not gain access to another user’s account. You accept sole responsibility of maintaining the confidentiality and any activity on your account. We do not accept liability for any losses or damages due to unlawful use of your account. You agree that you will immediately report suspicious, unauthorised and illegal activity on your account to our customer service contact found on the home page for investigation.

viii) You agree that you will not publish your or someone else’s personal and sensitive information, for example, email address, home address, telephone number, log in details, WhatsApp, bank details etc. to maintain your or their safety online. Any personal information published may be removed automatically (to the best of our ability) to protect our Users. Members are encouraged to maintain all communications with other Users on this platform within the website. You are encouraged to exercise caution particularly if you decide to meet in person or communicate off this platform. We do not accept liability for losses or damages that you may incur as a result of your interaction with other Users online or offline and for personal information that you publish on your profile or share with other Users or any damages that may be caused by other Users as a result of sharing your personal and sensitive information.

ix) Note that this service is provided for casual entertainment only and actual identities of users are not verified. Therefore, we do not accept liability for the accuracy or inaccuracy of content provided by users or subsequent consequences due to use of this information or content.

x) You agree that we reserve the right to terminate your membership at short notice, without giving you a reason if you are found in breach of our Terms of Use. We will notify you in writing in advance before cancelling or terminating the service. We reserve the right to lawfully suspend the member or profile while we investigate before termination of the account.

xi) You agree to indemnify Casual Connection, our directors, employees and relinquish us of any personal damages or losses that you or we may incur direct or indirect for example court fees, legal fees and any other costs and settlements that derive from investigations and lawsuits due to breach of Terms of Use.

xii) The applicable law for the interpretation and governance of our Terms of Use is in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes must be raised with us as soon as possible for amicable resolution.

Your personal data is processed by casual connection per our Privacy policy and data protection. By using this website, you explicitly accept these processes. 12. Enforceability
